STRAMASH are an eclectic rock band, Merging influences of Folk/Punk/Rock and Blues, This musical melting pot forges a strong ethnic sound with echoes of Audioslave, Nirvana and Soundgarden running throughout their music.
Stramash are lead by frontman David Dale's raw and earthy vocals, combining power with a delicate balance of melody and emotion. Guitarist Matt Clark adds his unique scratch style into the mixture with energetic rhythm and thunderous lead, Will Maxwell on Bass and Andy Lowrie on Drums finish off the Stramash line up, Fusing their punchy rhythms with relentless energy and an ever pervasive groove.
As always, what you hear is exactly how it was performed in the studio. The band prides itself on this organic approach to recording, favouring to utilize those raw elements that each member brings as opposed to processing them into something digital or squeaky clean and, ultimately, dishonest.
Stramash released their first EP "San Ramone in July 2015, and a second EP "Cold Winter Sun" in October 2015. This lead to a Regional UK Radio promotion deal with Radioactive in London and a further release of the single "Violated Nation" in May 2016.
Stramash will be releasing their debut album "Wheel of Time" in October 2016.
